No place to hide for Amanzimtoti business burglar found in roof

Blue Security armed response officers nabbed a suspect who hid inside a roof in a bid to evade arrest after attempting to break into a business premises in Amanzimtoti this morning.
Blue Security’s tactical ambassador in Amanzimtoti, Eugene Engelbrecht, said he had received a call from a business owner who requested assistance at his premises in Kingsway Road at around 8am this morning.
“Our tactical officer Triple M and a reaction second officer were mobilised to the scene, where they arrested a suspect who had attempted to break into the premises. The suspect had locked himself in a toilet and climbed into the roof in a bid to hide away and evade arrest. However, our officers found him and arrested him,” Engelbrecht said.
Amanzimtoti SAPS was called to the scene to take the suspect into custody.
