Brazen armed gang steal five vehicles from Jacobs business

Brazen armed robbers held up a security guard at a business premises in Jacobs and fled with not one but five stolen vehicles in the early hours of this morning.
Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said eight suspects had entered the business premises through a back fence at around 3.30am. “The gang tied up a security guard on site and fled in five vehicles that were parked on the premises. No injuries were reported,” Jackson said.
In a separate incident yesterday morning armed robbers held up a family in Cowies Hill and fled with televisions, laptops and other valuables. Jackson said four armed robbers forced their way through a lounge window to gain entry onto the property at around 6am.
“The suspects held up the residents and fled in their car with a television, jewellery, laptops and cellphones. No injuries were reported,” he said.
Pinetown SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
