Back-to-Back Recoveries: Second Stolen Vehicle Traced in KwaMakhuta

Incident: Stolen Vehicle Back-to-Back Recoveries

Following the successful recovery of a stolen Isuzu bakkie in Malagazi, our Community Crime Prevention Unit (CCPU), Tactical, and Armed Response teams were departing the scene when they were alerted to another stolen vehicle heading towards KwaMakhuta.

Without hesitation, our teams mobilised alongside Umlazi K9 Unit to intercept the vehicle. The suspects abandoned it at a sports field and fled before officers arrived.

Umlazi K9, Metro Police, and the tracking company assisted in securing the scene, ensuring the stolen vehicle was safely recovered. The vehicle was later handed in at KwaDabeka SAPS.

This rapid response and teamwork once again highlight the effectiveness of coordinated crime-fighting efforts. Well done to everyone involved in another successful recovery!
