A child’s Easter dream awaits Durban families this coming weekend. Get your chocolate game on and go eggsploring with friends and family in the Durban Botanic Gardens, meet the Easter bunny, ride a pony and experience interactive slime. Play games and stay entertained at this year’s Beacon Eggsplorer and family fun day.
Taking place for two days over the Easter weekend, the event guarantees good times and good vibes while families and friends hunt for Easter eggs in the Durban Botanic Gardens.
Designed by professional team building company, Beach and Bush, non-stop laughter and entertainment is guaranteed at this chocolate filled Easter event.

This is no normal Easter egg hunt, it’s much more than just chocolates and the Easter bunny. Here is a list of all the activities that are going to be on the go this coming weekend.
1. The Hunt –Taking place throughout the day, the hunt is a combination of spot the eggs and other challenge-based activities where families can participate at their own pace or compete against each other. Once you’ve found all your eggs you can claim your delicious Beacon surprise! As an extra treat, the Beacon Bunny has hidden 500 golden eggs to be found!
2. Baby Hunt – Your little one’s safety is a priority and there will be a dedicated and supervised space for kids aged one to three to hunt for eggs.
3. Easter bunny meet and greet – Say hi to the Beacon Bunny and his friends or stop by the Beacon photo booth to claim a keepsake photo to remember the day.
4. Other activities
