Blue Angels donates to victims of house fire

Blue Angels Charitable Trust trustee Darren Lategan said the charity had kick-started a fundraiser for the Kenton family with a R5000 donation.
“The Kenton family needs serious emotional and financial support at this time to help them focus on rebuilding their lives after the tragic fire that robbed them of so much. We believe the donation is the least the trust can do to support the family and to encourage other businesses and individuals in the community to step forward and help,” Lategan said. “We are making the Blue Angels Charitable Trust account available to members of the community who would like to make a donation to assist the family.”
“We believe that people in the Highway Area are caring and have no doubt that the fundraiser will be a success. Any amount, however small, will make a difference to the family as they seek to rebuild their lives,” Lategan said.
The account details for donations are as follows:
Account Name: Blue Angels Charitable Trust
Bank name: Investec Bank
Branch Code: 580 105
Account Number: 50006466461
When making a deposit use the reference “Kenton”.
The Blue Angels Charitable Trust, a registered non-profit and public benefit organisation was set up by Blue Security as an initiative to support victims of crime and trauma. The trust is independently administered by the Ewing Trust Company in Hillcrest.
