Blue Security and SAPS Intercept Vehicle with False Plates in Malvern

Blue Security’s Tactical Unit, Armed Response Officers, and Community Manager joined APS Bayview and the Umhlatuzana CPF in a vehicle checkpoint operation along Chatsworth Main Road.

During the operation, a white Audi approached the checkpoint, stopped, and then reversed in an attempt to evade. Blue Security’s Tactical Officer intervened, but the driver sped off. The officer initiated pursuit, successfully stopping the vehicle on Main Road in Malvern.

A check of the vehicle’s documentation revealed discrepancies between the license disc details and the fitted number plates, confirming that the vehicle was operating on false plates. Both the driver and the vehicle were handed over to SAPS Bayview for further investigation.
