Community Partnership Leads to Positive Outcome

Request for Assistance from Community Policing Forum  

Blue Security Tactical Command received a request for assistance from the Croftdene Community Policing Forum regarding a suspicious male observed on a pathway along Croftdene Road.

Deployment of K9 and High-Risk Units  

Tactical Command immediately deployed the Blue K9 Unit together with the High-Risk Intervention Unit to the location. Upon arrival, the units conducted a coordinated intervention, during which narcotics were confiscated and the suspect was detained without incident.

The suspect, along with the recovered narcotics, was transported to Chatsworth SAPS for further investigation and processing. This operation highlights the effectiveness of proactive patrols and strong collaboration between private security, community structures, and SAPS in maintaining safety within the area.
