Suspicious duo apprehended for Durban North theft

A Blue Security armed response officer arrested two alleged suspects for a Durban North theft, who were carrying a gate along Romsey Grove in broad daylight yesterday.
Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said a member of the public alerted the control centre of the suspicious pair, and an armed response officer was dispatched to the scene at around 1pm.
“Our officer questioned the men regarding the gate and a wheelbarrow they had with them. The suspects told him that they had removed the gate from a property in Underwood Road where a contractor on site later identified the stolen goods,” he said.
Greenwood Park SAPS attended the scene of the crime. A case of theft was opened.
