Caught on camera: Durban man escapes hijacking

A Durban man escaped a hijacking after being assaulted by a gang in the Bluff area, on the 1st July 2019.
62 year old, Malcolm Fraser, was outside his car smoking when he was approached by four men who attempted to force him in the back of his own car. Fraser managed to escape the gang, who then sped off stealing Fraser’s vehicle.
The incident occurred in Bluff, Durban at 7:40am. The car was later recovered in Isipingo.
A case has been opened, which police are investigation. No arrests have been made.
