Woman narrowly escapes Bo-Kaap bakkie crash after brakes fail.

A lady’s stroll up the hill was turned into a speedy sprint to save her own life after narrowly escaping death. A bakkie came flying down the road on Bo-Kaap hill causing the woman to think and act quickly to avoid death.
Even though the incident happened in mid-October, the footage only surfaced during the past few days.
When emergency services arrived at the accident scene the bakkie was found on its roof. The passengers that were situated at the back of the vehicle were unfortunately injured when the vehicle flipped over, however fortunate enough to escape the unlucky event with their lives.
Paramedics assessed the men and found that two had sustained some serious and critical injuries while five others sustained minor to moderate injuries from the incident.
Someone close to the family of one of the passengers, said that the bakkie’s brakes failed, which caused the driver to lose control. Luckily all the men made full recoveries.
