Firearm and Drugs Recovered During Highway Operation

Blue Security Tactical members participated in a joint operation alongside the South African Police Service Hillcrest, Metro Police Outer West members in the Waterfall area along Inanda Road.
A Vehicle Check Point (VCP) operation was established with the objective of stopping and searching vehicles for illegal firearms, illicit goods, and narcotics.
During the operation, members recovered one firearm, two spare loaded magazines, and ten loose rounds of ammunition located inside a vehicle cubbyhole. A substantial quantity of dagga was also recovered on scene.
The suspect was detained and transported to the South African Police Service Hillcrest Police Station for further investigation and processing.
