Five Fraud Suspects Apprehended During Multi-Area Operation
Four Suspects Arrested for Possession of Counterfeit Notes in Umhlatuzana
Blue Security Armed Response officers were conducting routine patrols along Chatsworth Main Road in the Umhlatuzana area when a local shop owner requested urgent assistance.
According to the complainant, four suspicious males had entered the shop and attempted to purchase a voucher using a counterfeit R200 note.
Backup was immediately requested, and additional Blue Security Armed Response and Tactical Units responded to the scene. The four suspects were swiftly detained by the responding teams pending the arrival of law enforcement.
Members of the South African Police Service Bayview attended the scene, placed the suspects under arrest, and transported them to the Police Station for further investigation and processing.
