Gang armed with bush knives ambush security guard

A gang of six armed men robbed a business in the Queensmead Industrial area yesterday.
Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said the gang, armed with bush knives, gained entry onto the Downie Crescent business premises and ambushed a security guard on site. The incident occurred at around 12.50pm.
“The gang fled with two batteries which they stole from trucks parked on the premises. No injuries were reported,” Jackson said.
Malvern SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
