Gate motor gone in 40 seconds

We have noticed that there has been an increase of electric gate motor theft in the Durban area. Opportunistic thieves target gate motors that are easy accessible. In this video a suspect manages to remove the motor from the box within 40 seconds. We strongly advise members to lock their Gate motors with a Pad lock and if you can, bolt your gate motor into the ground to prevent criminals from stealing it and keep it locked to prevent battery theft and criminals from resetting the motor or switching the gate onto manual.
