Burglars busted breaking into Glen Anil business premises

Vigilant Blue Security armed response officers arrested two alleged burglars who were caught red handed attempting to break into a business premises in Glen Anil yesterday.
Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios said an armed response officer reported that he had spotted two suspects pulling at the steel gate of a business premises in Columbine Place at around 6.30pm.
“The suspects fled towards North Coast Road and a second officer patrolled the area in search of them. He arrested them and took them back to the business premises, where they were handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS,” Mathios said.
“It was later found that a container on the property had been forced open but it was unclear what had been stolen. A missing battery which was stolen from another business in Columbine Place was recovered and handed over to the business owner at the scene,” Mathios said.
