Blue Security Tactical Officers received information via a security network regarding a stolen Toyota Cross that had been taken earlier that morning.
A Tactical Officer immediately mobilised to the first reported location; however, the vehicle was not found. Shortly afterwards, updated coordinates were provided by Magma Security and Investigations, prompting members to redirect to a second location in the Lamontville area.
Upon arrival, the stolen Toyota Cross was successfully located concealed within dense bushes. The scene was secured, and the recovered vehicle was handed over to Lamontville SAPS for the necessary legal and recovery procedures.
The successful recovery highlights the importance of rapid response, real-time intelligence sharing and effective collaboration between Blue Security and its security partners.
