Armed Response

Adams Mission – 18 June 2025
Blue Security’s Tactical Officer successfully recovered a hijacked white Isuzu bakkie in the Adams Mission area after receiving an urgent request for assistance from a vehicle tracking company.
The vehicle had been reported hijacked earlier that day. According to the driver, he was forced to pull over when suspects in a maroon Suzuki seven-seater pointed firearms at him. Two suspects then exited their vehicle and entered the Isuzu, forcing the driver to sit in the middle seat while one of the suspects drove off with the vehicle.
The hijackers parked the bakkie on a nearby gravel road, where they offloaded stock from the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver was not physically harmed. The suspects fled the scene in the maroon Suzuki, taking the driver’s cellphone but leaving the vehicle key behind.
With tracking information and swift response, Blue Security’s Tactical Officer located the stationary vehicle and secured it. Members of the tracking company arrived shortly thereafter, and the vehicle was handed over to KwaMakhutha SAPS for further investigation.
This incident underscores the importance of coordinated action between private security and tracking services in quickly recovering hijacked vehicles and ensuring the safety of victims.
