Armed robbers ransack Hillcrest jewellery store

Armed robbers held up staff in a business robbery in Old Main Road in Hillcrest yesterday morning.
Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios said a gang of three men, one of then armed with a firearm, entered the jewellery store and held up staff at around 10.50am.
“The robbers forced the staff to lie on the floor and proceeded to clear the shop of stock. They also fled with a set of keys and gate remotes. No injuries were reported,” Mathios said.
Hillcrest SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
