Housebreaking Suspects Apprehended in Phoenix Area

Two housebreaking suspects were apprehended in Phoenix, north of Durban, in the early hours of the morning all thanks to a sharp-eyed Blue Security reaction officer.
“Our unit was on routine patrol on the Phoenix highway between 1am and 2am in the morning when he spotted unusual activity in the bush,” said Blue Security community and media liaison officer, Andreas Mathios, “the Eastbury, Stanmore area has recently been affected by a high rate of cable and streetlight theft.”
When he noticed suspicious movement in the bushes in the Eastbury area the officer got out of his vehicle to investigate. His suspicions proved correct when he encountered two men hiding in the bush in possession of housebreaking implements.
“The officer was joined a short while later by units from two other security providers who assisted in the detaining of the suspects,” he said.
“Further investigations into the suspects in the Phoenix area are continuing,” he said.
