Intruder Apprehended Following Coordinated Response in Roosfontein

Blue Security Armed Response Officer I6 responded swiftly to information received via a community WhatsApp group regarding an intruder at a residence on Middleton Road within the Roosfontein Blue Zone.

Upon arrival, the officer met with the homeowner, who reported that an unknown suspect had entered the property. A thorough search of the premises was conducted; however, no suspect was located at the time.

Shortly thereafter, the same Armed Response Officer was dispatched to a panic alarm at another residence on Middleton Road. While en route, the officer observed an individual matching the description previously provided by the first complainant.

The suspect was stopped and positively identified by the resident as the person who had unlawfully entered her property earlier. The suspect was immediately apprehended and detained on scene.

 Members of the South African Police Service Malvern attended and took custody of the suspect for further investigation and processing.
