Joint Operation Success: Suspect Apprehended During Compliance Inspection in Hillary

Blue Security’s Tactical Units and Blue Riot Unit joined forces with multiple stakeholders in a successful joint compliance operation in the SAPS Bellair patrol area.
The operation aimed to conduct a thorough compliance inspection at a property situated in the Hillary area and included the following role players:
Bellair CPF
Durban Solid Waste (DSW)
Other municipal departments
Security partners
Our Tactical Officer and Blue Riot team were deployed along the railway lines as a stopper group — a critical strategy to prevent suspects from fleeing via this route.
Their proactive approach proved effective when a suspect attempted to escape along the railway line, only to run straight into the stopper group. The suspect was immediately apprehended and handed over to Metro Police for further investigation.
Operations like this showcase the power of cooperation among security forces, municipal services, and community partners. It is through these united efforts that we continue to strengthen safety and uphold the law across our neighbourhoods.
