I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to keep all of my eggs in one basket. To narrow this figure of speech down to a specific “egg” and a specific “basket”, I don’t like to keep all of my money in my wallet when I leave the house.
The reason for this is simple. If your wallet or purse gets stolen, you’ve lost everything in it. Your bank cards, cash and potentially your ID and drivers license.
If you don’t have some extra cash hidden, you’re going to find yourself in quite the predicament.
This can be a massive problem if you are travelling abroad, gone on a quick trip to the grocery store or are going anywhere where you may need to spend money.
