New Germany Suspect Caught Inside Home With Stripped Cable

Blue Security members received a call for assistance via the New Germany safety WhatsApp group after a suspect was reportedly spotted inside a residential property.
Responding members arrived and found the kitchen door open. The suspect was located inside the kitchen carrying a knife and pliers, along with cable that had allegedly been stripped from inside the property.
Upon seeing the responding members, the suspect fled further into the house. Members pursued and successfully apprehended him in the passage.
Additional Blue Security members arrived to provide backup and assist with securing the scene.
The suspect was subsequently handed over to Pinetown SAPS and detained at the police station for further investigation and processing.
The homeowner, who resides in Cape Town, was notified of the incident.
