Have you been a part of the project since day one or are you a new member of the team? Either way, this page will provide you with a rundown of how and why the Parkside Blue Zone came into existence. It will also inform you of the benefits that members have access to.
How and where the Parkside project was initiated?
In February 2018, the Parkside community representatives met with Blue and signed off on a deal to procure their own dedicated armed response vehicle. Since then, we have come a far way and even though still some members short, the dedicated vehicle was launched with a few conditions in October 2021. The one condition was to share the vehicle with Blue clients in the Escombe community precinct.
We are now very pleased to announce that the Parkside shared dedicated vehicle will be exclusively servicing the Parkside community precinct as from 13 November 2022.
What security benefits do the Parkside Blue Zone members have access to by being a part of this project?
All Blue Zone members should be aware of the benefits that they have access to and make sure that they use these features as effectively as possible, to create a safer neighborhood.
- A dedicated vehicle that never leaves the Parkside designated footprint, ensuring faster response times
- A dedicated regional management team to assist with queries
- Alarm signals which link directly to the dedicated vehicle
- Two free mobile panic apps per subscribed household
- A patrolling vehicle that patrols the area extensively
There is no doubt that Parkside residents can see the endless value in being a part of the project and reap the rewards of the dedicated security resources in the area looking after community members all day, every day.
