Blue Security’s Up To 12 Months Free Promotion

1. Promotion Overview

This promotion offers up to 12 months of free security protection to eligible customers. The offer applies exclusively to residents of Durban North and Umhlanga, KwaZulu‑Natal, and is not valid within Blue Zones / Project Areas.

2. Eligibility Criteria

2.1. The promotion is available only to new contract sign‑ups within the designated service areas of Durban North and Umhlanga.

2.2. This promotion does not apply to clients who choose or qualify for a free system offer.

2.3. The offer is exclusive and cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or special offers.

3. Contract Terms

3.1. All promotional offers require a minimum contract period of 36 months.

3.2. Clients receiving free systems must sign a 36‑month contract at the specific rates applicable to free system packages.

3.3. All clients must comply with the agreed payment terms throughout the contract period to remain eligible for the promotion.

4. Service Provider Cancellation

4.1. Blue Security will manage and facilitate the cancellation process with the client’s current service provider as part of the onboarding process.

5. Blue Security Rights

5.1. Blue Security reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate this promotion at any time and at its sole discretion.

5.2. In the event of changes or discontinuation, existing clients under contract will not lose benefits already granted under the promotional terms.

6. General Conditions

6.1. The promotional free period is limited to a maximum of 12 months, depending on the package and eligibility assessment.

6.2. The offer is only valid for residential security services within the qualifying regions.

3. Package Bonus

Each package comes standard with an 8 Channel 1080p DVR for the same cost as a 4 Channel DVR, giving the client the bonus ability to upgrade from a 4 camera system to an 8 camera system in future without replacing the DVR.

4. Installation Conditions

4.1 Additional charges may apply for:
• Double-storey or complex installations
• Concealed cabling or trenching
• Excessive cable runs
• Special mounting brackets or poles
• Electrical work or power supply modifications
• Network upgrades

5. Client Responsibility

5.1 The client must ensure adequate power supply, internet connectivity, and secure access.

5.2 Equipment protection against theft, damage, or environmental conditions remains the client’s responsibility.

6. Warranty

6.1 Any warranty on items excludes damage caused by misuse, power surges, environmental factors, or tampering.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Maintenance is not included and may be quoted separately

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Full payment is required prior to installation.

8.2 All prices include VAT, installation, and sundries unless stated otherwise.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 CCTV systems assist monitoring but do not prevent incidents.

9.2 Blue Security is not liable for loss, damage, or incidents occurring despite system installation.

10. Cancellation Policy

10.1 Cancellation fees may apply once installation is scheduled.

11. Blue Security Rights

11.1 Blue Security reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate this promotion at any time at its sole discretion.

11.2 In the event of changes or discontinuation, existing clients under contract will not lose benefits already granted under the promotional terms.

11.3 The promotion excludes remote offsite monitoring by Blue Security and will need to be arranged as an additional contract.

How It Works

Refer a friend, neighbour, or family member to Blue Security. If they sign up and
successfully link their system to our monitoring and armed response services, you earn a
R500 Takealot voucher.

What Qualifies?

For you to qualify for the reward:

• The referred person must be a new Blue Security client
• They must not have received a formal quote from us in the past 6 months
• They must sign a service agreement
• Their system must be installed (if applicable) and successfully linked
• All required installation and activation fees must be paid
• Their account must remain active and fully paid for at least 30 days

Once all of the above is complete, your voucher will be issued within 30 days.

Important Things to Know

• The voucher is valued at R500 and issued electronically
• The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash
• The voucher is subject to Takealot’s own terms and conditions
• Referrals must be declared at the time of enquiry or quotation
• Only the first recorded referrer will qualify if multiple people refer the same person
• Self-referrals are not permitted
• The referred property must fall within Blue Security’s operational areas

When Will I Not Qualify?

You will not qualify if:

• The referred client cancels before 30 days
• The referral was not recorded at the time of enquiry
• The person referred is already a Blue Security client
• The account falls into arrears during the qualifying period

Promotion Period

This promotion runs until withdrawn. Blue Security reserves the right to amend or end the
promotion at any time.
