Quick Response Ensures Safe Containment After Multiple Vehicle Collision

A Blue Security Armed Response member reported an incident in Durban Central where a foreign national driver had driven into multiple vehicles along Charlotte Maxeke Road.

Blue Security Tactical and Riot Units were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene, where they assisted in stabilising the situation alongside Metro Police.
It was established that the driver had no valid driver’s license and had started and driven a heavy-duty vehicle, resulting in multiple collisions. The suspect was subsequently detained by Metro Police.

No injuries were reported during the incident. The scene was secured, and all further procedures were handled by the relevant authorities, including the South African Police Service.
