Resident ambushed by armed men in Berea hijacking

A hijacker wearing a blue overall held up a Carrington Heights resident in his driveway early yesterday morning.
In the Berea hijacking, Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said two men, one of them dressed in a blue overall, had hijacked the resident as he was about to reverse out of the driveway of his home in Pitcairn Road at around 7am.
“The hijackers ambushed the resident as he jumped into his car to leave for work and held him up at gunpoint. They demanded that he get out of the car and forced him to lie on the ground,” he said. “They robbed him of his wallet, watch and cellphone before fleeing in his vehicle. No injuries were reported.”
