Response officers nab two Durban North burglars in the act

Blue Security armed response officers arrested two Durban North burglars after disturbing a burglary in progress at a business premises yesterday morning.
Blue Security operations manager Brian Jackson said the officers had responded to an alarm activation at the business premises in Waterkant Road. “When our first officer arrived at the scene he spotted intruders on the property, radioed for back-up and entered the property to investigate. Our officers arrested two alleged burglars on the property and recovered a pair of bolt cutters and a flat screen monitor in the parking lot of the property.”
Jackson said a further two burglars had managed to flee the scene in a BMW with three stolen computers. This suspect was allegedly their lookout, and warned the suspects when armed response officers arrived on the scene.
Durban North SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
