See Durban from a different view

We live in the most beautiful city, and we often take the views around us for granted. Upper Highway residents are fortunate enough to have a view of the ocean while sitting in traffic, making it a bit more bearable. But you have not really seen Durban until you have visited our top viewing spots.
The best lookout point is at the top of Inanda Mountain. A short 30 minute drive from Durban central and up a steep tarred mountain pass awaits a view that will take your breath away. Be careful as the road literally ends at the edge of the cliff face. This viewing spot is on the edge of the cliffs plummeting down to the shores of the dam with a view of rolling mountains and the magnificent Inanda dam. This view can only be described as indescribable. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the view as this is a spot where you could spend hours… just looking.
The next must see viewing point is at the Cube on Innes Road in Berea, a popular tourist attraction in 2010 when South Africa hosted the Soccer World cup. The Cube, which is also a highlight on the twice-daily Ricksha Bus tour (it serves as one of only a couple points at which you can actually get off the bus for a while), is well-known amongst Durbanites as one of the best lookout views over the city, and if it is an outlook over the Moses Mabhida stadium you’re after, then look no further, for this is one of the best in Durban.
While we are mentioning Moses Mabhida stadium, the SkyCar is a definite must do. You can have a unique 106m-high view point from the SkyCar. On the one side you can look out over the breath-taking ocean view as far as the eye can see and when you turn around you can see the city living for miles.
Once you have visited these three viewing spots you can really say that you have seen Durban. Enjoy the view…
