Stolen Golf Recovered After Tactical Pursuit in KwaMashu

Blue Security Tactical Officers received information regarding a white Volkswagen Golf that had been reported stolen in KwaDabeka. The vehicle was tracked by Blue Security Tactical Officers in coordination with Cartrack, with the tracking information leading members to a property on Mnyamana Road in Emakhosini, KwaMashu.
Tactical Command monitored the operation through the responding officer’s dashcam as the member entered the area and located the stolen vehicle. Several suspects had already parked the vehicle at the property and fled when the Tactical Officer approached.
The Tactical Officer pursued one of the fleeing suspects on foot while Cartrack continued assisting with the recovery operation. Upon returning to the vehicle, multiple suspects were located and apprehended in the vicinity.
The stolen Volkswagen Golf was successfully recovered, while the apprehended suspects were handed over for the necessary legal processes.
The successful operation highlights the effectiveness of real-time vehicle tracking, tactical response, dashcam monitoring and coordinated operations between Blue Security and its vehicle recovery partners.
