Stolen Isuzu Bakkie Recovered in Lamontville
Blue Security Tactical Division members were conducting patrols within the Chatsworth area when information was received via a recovery group requesting assistance in locating a stolen Isuzu bakkie.
Blue Security Tactical members immediately mobilised together with Cartrack and members of the South African Police Service Lamontville to the coordinates provided.
Upon arrival in the Radebe Street area of Lamontville, the team successfully located the stolen vehicle hidden deep within an informal settlement.
An inspection of the vehicle revealed that it had been stripped internally and that the battery had been removed.
The recovered vehicle was subsequently handed over to Cartrack and the South African Police Service Lamontville for further investigation and processing.
