Stolen Toyota Fortuner Found Idling in Umlazi

Blue Security Tactical Officers mobilised after receiving information that a Toyota Fortuner, stolen earlier in the day from the Pinetown CBD, was travelling within the Umlazi area.
Working alongside Cartrack and Metro Police, Tactical members saturated the target area in search of the vehicle. During the operation, Blue Security Tactical Officers successfully located the stolen Toyota Fortuner in T Section, Umlazi, where it was found abandoned with the engine still idling.
The scene was secured, and the recovered vehicle was handed over to Cartrack and Metro Police for the necessary recovery procedures and further investigation.
The successful recovery highlights the value of rapid intelligence sharing, coordinated teamwork and swift tactical deployment in recovering stolen vehicles before they can be moved or stripped.
