Stolen Trailer from Richards Bay Recovered in Malvern — Teamwork Pays Off

Stolen Trailer Tracked to Malvern    

A stolen horse-and-trailer reported missing from the Empangeni/Richards Bay area was successfully recovered in Malvern thanks to swift action, sharp teamwork, and crucial information shared by an off-duty Blue Security Tactical member.

Intel from Off-Duty Member Sparks Fast Response   

While on patrol, a Blue Security Tactical Officer received intel from the off-duty member indicating that the stolen trailer might be in the Malvern area. Acting immediately, the Tactical Officer proceeded to the last known coordinates to assist the tracking team already searching for the vehicle.

Trailer Located and Recovered on Stella Road  

Together with the tracking operator, the officer located and recovered the trailer on Stella Road, Malvern. After securing the scene, the Tactical Officer conducted additional patrols in the surrounding area in an effort to locate the trailer’s missing contents.

SAPS Takes Over Investigation 

SAPS was dispatched to the location, and the recovered trailer was formally handed over for further investigation.
