Stolen Vehicle Intercepted Through AGITH Tactical Network

Blue Security’s Community Command Centre dispatched the dedicated All Good In The Hood (AGITH) tactical vehicle after receiving a SNIPR alert indicating that a wanted vehicle was travelling towards the Hillcrest CBD.
Technology-Driven Tracking
Utilising the extensive surveillance network operating throughout the Upper Highway area, the vehicle was tracked and successfully located with the occupants still inside. The integrated technology network enabled officers to quickly identify and intercept the vehicle before it could move further through the area.
Interception and Handover
The wanted vehicle and its occupants were detained and handed over to members of Hillcrest SAPS for further investigation and processing.
Operational Impact
This recovery highlights the effectiveness of the AGITH campaign, where the collaboration between a 24-hour tactical response unit and a wide ANPR/CCTV surveillance network enables rapid identification, tracking, and interception of criminal elements operating within the Upper Highway community.
