Stolen Vehicle Recovered and Suspect Apprehended in Clairwood

Blue Security Tactical members received information from Matrix Tracking regarding the location of a stolen vehicle in the Clairwood area.
Tactical members immediately mobilised together with members of the South African Police Service Bellair.
Within minutes, the stolen Toyota bakkie was successfully located with a suspect found in possession of the vehicle. The suspect was unable to provide a valid explanation regarding possession of the vehicle and was detained on scene.
Further investigation confirmed that the Toyota bakkie had been stolen from the Pinetown area during April 2026.
The recovered vehicle and suspect were handed over to the South African Police Service for further investigation and processing.
