Stolen Vehicle Recovered in KwaDabeka

Theft Alert and Immediate Patrols   

A Blue Security tactical officer was alerted to the theft of a bakkie taken from the Pinetown area earlier that morning. Acting on the information received, patrols were immediately conducted through identified hotspot areas.

Tracking Assistance Leads to Recovery  

The officer then assisted a vehicle tracking service with follow-up efforts, which led to the successful recovery of the stolen vehicle in the Kwadabeka area. The vehicle was found abandoned and secured without incident

Handover to SAPS for Investigation  

Any suspects located in connection with the recovery, together with tools found on scene, were handed over to SAPS for further investigation. The recovered vehicle was also handed over to KwaDabeka SAPS for formal processing
