Stolen Vehicles Recovered Following Armed Robbery in Montclair

Blue Security Tactical Command Centre received information regarding an armed robbery in the Montclair area, where four armed suspects stole two vehicles along with an undisclosed amount of cash, laptops, cellphones, and other household items.

The information was immediately relayed to response units, and further intelligence regarding the location of the stolen vehicles was obtained through tracking support. The Blue Security K9 Unit acted swiftly and proceeded to the identified location.

One of the stolen vehicles, a white SUV, was successfully recovered through the joint efforts of the Umlazi K9 Unit, Blue Security K9 Unit, and supporting teams. The second stolen vehicle was later found crashed along the South Coast Road.

Both recovery scenes were secured, and the matter was handed over to the South African Police Service for further investigation.

Inspection Reveals Stolen Copper and Tools  

The officer stopped and engaged the individuals, requesting permission to inspect the backpack. Upon inspection, the bag was found to contain copper pipe pieces and a hammer. The individuals were unable to provide a reasonable or lawful explanation for being in possession of these items.
