Stolen Volkswagen Polo Recovered After Tactical Pursuit in Malagazi

A Blue Security Tactical Officer received tracking information regarding a stolen Volkswagen Polo that had been taken from the Durban North area. While stationed in the Orient area, the officer spotted the vehicle travelling along the M35 and immediately initiated a pursuit.
The vehicle proceeded through Lotus Park towards Malagazi, with the Tactical Officer maintaining pursuit. The suspects eventually abandoned the vehicle near a residential property and fled on foot.
Additional Blue Security Tactical Officers and an Area Manager responded to assist with the recovery operation, while Matrix and SAPS also attended the scene.
The stolen Volkswagen Polo was successfully recovered and secured for the necessary investigation and recovery procedures.
The successful recovery highlights the value of real-time tracking, rapid tactical response and coordinated efforts between Blue Security, vehicle tracking companies and law enforcement.
