Blue Security Tactical Officers received information from Tracker South Africa regarding a stolen Volkswagen Polo, together with its tracking coordinates in Y Section, Umlazi.
Members immediately mobilised to the reported location and, in coordination with Tracker South Africa, conducted a search of the surrounding area. The stolen vehicle was successfully located abandoned on the roadside.
Tracker South Africa notified SAPS, and the recovered vehicle was transported to the police station for the necessary recovery procedures and further investigation.
The successful recovery highlights the importance of rapid response, intelligence-led operations and effective collaboration between Blue Security, Tracker South Africa and SAPS in recovering stolen vehicles.
