Success Report – High-Priority Suspects Apprehended

High-Risk Intervention Unit Partners with SAPS Task Team  

On the evening of 06 December 2025, the Blue Security High-Risk Intervention Unit partnered with the Chatsworth Task Team (a SAPS unit) to follow up on critical intelligence regarding high-priority suspects involved in multiple housebreakings across the Chatsworth area.

Suspects Linked to Multiple Break-Ins  

The suspects were linked to several break-ins along Crimby Avenue, Westcliff, prompting the Chatsworth Task Team to request additional support from Blue Security’s High-Risk Intervention Unit and Tactical Officers to help track down the individuals at large.

Coordinated Search Leads to Apprehension 

After conducting an extensive and coordinated search, officers successfully located and apprehended four suspects across two informal settlements:

● Raffia Road Informal Settlement
● Bottlebrush Crescent Informal Settlement

Stolen Items Recovered During Operation 

During the operation, members recovered jewellery, cellphones, laptops, and network cables, all believed to be stolen during the recent housebreakings.

Suspects Transported and Items Secured  

The four suspects were transported to Chatsworth Police Station, where they were formally charged, and the recovered items were secured for further investigation.
