Success Report: Suspect Apprehended After Business Break-In in Morningside

Blue Security’s ARO responded to an alarm activation at a business in Morningside. During a routine check of the premises, he discovered two broken window panes. Shining his torch into the building, he spotted a suspect inside and immediately requested backup.

Once the business owner arrived, a thorough search of the premises was conducted by our ARO teams, and the suspect was found hiding in the storeroom.

The suspect had forced open a window on the front left side and bent the burglar bars to gain entry. In an attempt to avoid detection, the suspect had also repositioned the front external cameras.

Berea SAPS attended the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody.
