Rapid Response Leads to Recovery in Adams Mission
Blue Security’s Tactical Unit was alerted by a vehicle tracking provider about a Toyota Starlet that had reportedly been hijacked. The tracking signal indicated the vehicle’s location in the Esahweni area of Adams Mission.

Our Tactical Officer immediately proceeded to the location and, within minutes, successfully located the vehicle abandoned on the side of the road. KwaMakhutha SAPS arrived on scene shortly thereafter and assisted with the vehicle recovery.

During their inspection, officers discovered that the vehicle’s ignition key had been left in place. SAPS members then drove the vehicle to the police station for safekeeping and further investigation.

Not long after, two female victims arrived at the station and reported that they had been hijacked in KwaFelekisi by two men. One suspect was reportedly armed with a handgun. According to the victims, the suspects forced them to exit the vehicle, taking their handbags, a tablet, and a mobile phone before fleeing the scene.

This coordinated recovery effort between Blue Security and KwaMakhutha SAPS showcases the value of swift communication, tactical readiness, and trusted partnerships in the fight against vehicle crime.
