Suspect Detained with Suspected Stolen Property in Isipingo

During an early morning patrol in the Isipingo area, a Blue Security Tactical member observed a suspicious individual walking along Keerath Road carrying a tyre and rim.
Given the prevalence of theft of such items in the area, the officer stopped to investigate.
The suspect was questioned but was unable to provide a valid or lawful explanation for being in possession of the property.
The suspect was detained on scene, and the South African Police Service Isipingo were contacted. The individual was subsequently handed over for further investigation and processing.
