Suspect Flees Scene In Glen Ashley: Stolen Items Recovered

On the afternoon of 1 September 2025, Blue Security’s Armed Response officer weas conducting routine patrols along Delaware and Portview Place in Glen Ashley when they were flagged down by a resident.

The homeowner in Portview Place, urgently reported that she had spotted an intruder on her property moments earlier. Responding without delay, the patrolling members radioed for backup.

Within minutes, additional Tactical Support Units were dispatched and arrived on scene to provide reinforcement.

Upon briefing by the client, it was established that the suspect had fled the premises via the rear of the property. A detailed description of the individual was quickly obtained and circulated amongst patrolling officers in the vicinity.

Shortly thereafter, one of the Tactical officer’s observed a male matching the description behaving suspiciously on Rinaldo Road. When approached, the individual dropped a black bag and fled on foot towards the Malacca Road informal settlement.

This incident highlights the value of proactive patrol presence and community alertness. Thanks to Mrs Shelly’s quick reporting and our layered tactical response, stolen items were successfully recovered before the suspect could profit from the break-in.
