Suspicious Individual Stopped with Tools and Toy Gun in Hillcrest Park

Vigilant Patrol Leads to Discovery in Hillcrest Park
During routine patrols on Ridge Road, Hillcrest Park, Blue Security’s Armed Response Officers (AROs) noticed a male individual hiding along the roadside guardrail.

Our officers immediately approached the suspect and requested that he step out from his hiding place. The individual complied without resistance.

Upon searching the suspect and his bag, officers found various tools and a toy firearm. When questioned, the suspect claimed he was on his way from Molweni to the Durban train station.

SAPS Hillcrest was notified and arrived to handle further investigation and processing.
