Suspicious Suspect Apprehended in Montclair

Blue Security Tactical members were conducting routine patrols along Langton Road in the Montclair area during the early hours of the morning when they observed a suspicious individual carrying a large and heavy ladder.
The suspect was stopped and questioned regarding possession of the property. He was unable to provide a valid explanation for where the ladder had originated from or why he was transporting it at that time of the morning.
The suspect was detained on scene pending the arrival of the South African Police Service Montclair for further investigation.
Members of the South African Police Service attended the scene, and the suspect was handed over for processing.
