Swift Coordination Leads to Vehicle Recovery

Vehicle Reported Missing with Live Tracking  

A Toyota Rumion was reported as a missing persons vehicle, with live tracking indicating that the vehicle was travelling within the Durban Central area.

The Blue K9 Unit immediately mobilised and monitored the vehicle as it proceeded onto the N3 in the direction of Pinetown. Through coordinated efforts, the vehicle was successfully intercepted, with assistance from Blue Armed Response units.

Driver Verification Conducted  

Further verification confirmed that the driver did not have the owner’s consent to use the vehicle and was not authorised to operate the vehicle.

The vehicle and the driver were subsequently handed over to the relevant tracking company for further handling and investigation.

This incident highlights the effectiveness of rapid response, inter-unit cooperation and real-time monitoring in achieving a successful outcome.
