Swift Response Ensures Safety After Highway Collision

A Tactical officer together with the Reaction Manager were conducting routine patrols in close proximity to the M1 Higginson Highway when they came across a single vehicle collision. Tactical Command was immediately notified and requested to contact the South African Police Service (SAPS).

Emergency services were already on scene attending to the occupants of the vehicle. It was established that one female and two adult males were traveling in the vehicle when the driver lost control, resulting in the vehicle mounting a traffic island and colliding with a tree.

The driver was reported to be in a stable condition, and fortunately no major injuries were sustained by any of the occupants. SAPS was dispatched to the scene for further investigation and processing.
