Swift Response Leads to Stolen Property Recovery and Suspect Detained

Information was received via a community emergency group reporting an intruder at a residential property in the Hillcrest area. The suspect had stolen white plastic chairs and a garden hose pipe. At the time of the report, no description of the suspect or direction of travel was available.

Armed Response and Tactical members immediately proceeded to the premises, while additional units conducted patrols in the surrounding area and monitored available camera systems for any signs of the suspect.

During patrols, a suspect matching the circumstances was spotted in possession of one white plastic chair near a nearby medical facility. Additional support units responded to the location, where the suspect was successfully apprehended.

The complainant was contacted and arrangements were made for identification and further action. Upon arrival, the complainant proceeded to the local police station, accompanied by security members, to open a formal case.

Further processing of the incident is ongoing.
