Swift Response Leads to Trespass Suspect Arrest

An Armed Response officer was dispatched following a complaint from a client reporting a trespasser on site within a residential complex. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant, who stated that while entering the premises, an unknown male followed him inside without permission.

Response and Apprehension  

The suspect proceeded further into the complex and attempted to open a garage belonging to another resident. The resident noticed the suspicious behaviour, confronted the suspect, and contacted security for assistance.

The suspect was detained on scene, placed in handcuffs, and transported to Hillcrest SAPS for further processing. A criminal case was opened, and the suspect was handed over to SAPS members for investigation.
